Set up automatic Apple Pay expenses on iOS 26.x

Follow this short video to manually connect Wallet and the “Add expense to CapyCash” action in Shortcuts on iOS 26.x.

This guide is exclusively for iOS 26.x.

Open Shortcuts

What you will configure

    Open Shortcuts, go to Automation, tap +, and choose Wallet.

  2. 2

    Select the payment passes or cards that should trigger the automation.

  3. 3

    Add the “Add expense to CapyCash” action and use the transaction input for Amount and Merchant.

  4. 4

    Choose “Run Immediately”, turn on “Notify When Run”, and save the automation.

This captures purchases made with cards added to Apple Wallet. Cash and transfers are not included.
